Full description

Departing from Rome, heading north to the Tuscany region for a full-day tour to the “Cradle of the Renaissance”; crossing the green valley where the Tiber River runs its course at the foot of the Apennines, passing vineyards of Chianti before reaching Pisa. You will see the Leaning Tower at “Piazza dei Miracoli” in Pisa and also visit the Baptistery and “Duomo,” all shining white marble monuments. Leave at 12 pm to drive back to Florence, the mythic city of artists and architects between the 14th and 17th centuries. Stop for lunch. At 2:30 pm join your professional English-speaking guide for a walking tour through Florence. Once in its center, medieval streets, craftsmen’s workshops and masterpieces by Leonardo Da Vinci, Botticelli or Michelangelo, including the famous David located inside at the “Accademia”, will be easily spotted. Visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, with its lovely dome projected by Brunelleschi at first hand and be entranced by the Baptistery as well as Giotto’s Bell Tower. The tour ends with a view breath-taking from “Piazzale Michelangelo”, where there is the most beautiful panoramic view over the Tuscan capital: “Ponte Vecchio,” Arno River and the “Duomo.”

Not includes

  • The Leaning Tower of Pisa is one of Italy's most well-known landmarks. In 1173, construction started on this white marble campanile and continued for 199 years, often interrupted because the independent-minded Republic of Pisa was usually in conflict with Genoa, Lucca, and Florence. It is situated at the rear of Pisa Cathedral in Piazza dei Miracoli, where it serves as the piazza's third oldest structure.
